The Ravensburger BC (officially: Ravensburger Billard Club ) is a billiard club from Ravensburg . The club, which was founded in 2012, played in the first three-cushion Bundesliga from 2013 to 2016 and was the German champion in the three- cushion pile-up discipline in 2015 .
history
The Ravensburger BC was created in 2012 when the carom department of BC Weingarten was outsourced. The three-cushion team of BC Weingarten was promoted to the 2nd Bundesliga in the 2011/12 season . In the 2012/13 season , Ravensburger BC reached first place with only one defeat and thus rose to the 1st Bundesliga . After finishing sixth in 2014 , they became German champions in the 2014/15 season with just two defeats. In the following season , the Ravensburger, whose top performers Tayfun Taşdemir and Murat Naci Çoklu were now used less, rose as tenth place. For the 2016/17 season, the club withdrew its team to the major league.
