Raimond Burgman (born May 12, 1964 in Soest , Netherlands) is a Dutch carom player in the three- cushion discipline . He was three times European junior champion.

Career

In 1981 Burgmann's career on the international stage began with a silver medal at the European Junior Championship in the free game , and his first gold medal followed the following year, and in 1983 the second. In 1985 he changed discipline and became European Youth Champion in Cadre 47/2. Burgmann has been playing in the men's class since 1986 and was able to win the silver medal at the European Free Game Championships in Lyon . In 1988 he played three cushion for the first time at international tournaments. He won the bronze medal at the European Triathlon Championships in Bad Mondorf . 1997 in Grubbenvorst he came in second place after a defeat in the final against Torbjörn Blomdahl . With Dick Jaspers , he won the World Triathlon Championship for national teams in 1998 and 1999. In 2000 and 2008, they both finished second, and won bronze in 2006, 2007 and 2010.

In 1997, Burgmann won his only medal (silver) in three cushion at the individual world championships . In 2011 he won the bronze medal with Jaspers at the Team World Championships in Viersen . In 2012 he finished second in the three- cushion European championship in Istanbul behind the Greek Filipos Kasidokostas .
