The three-cushion world championship for national teams in 1991 was the 5th edition of this tournament, which has been held annually since 1981 in the three- cushion version of billiards . It took place from February 21 to 24, 1991 in Viersen .
Game mode
12 teams took part in the tournament. Each team consisted of two players. The game was played in 4 groups. In the groups, each player played against both opponents. The four group winners reached the semifinals.
The whole tournament was played with 2 winning sets. The final ended in a draw, but since there has to be a winner in knockout mode, Sweden was the winner due to the better set ratio with 7: 5. In the game for third place, Germany scored more points in the tie.
