The Pentathlon European Championships for national teams , known and in common use under the name TEP ( T rophy E uropean P in entathlon), was an international tournament series carom which was first organized in the 1966/67 season. Except for 1989 ( Nykøbing Falster , Denmark), the World Cup took place in Amersfoort , the Netherlands . The record winner is Belgium with six gold medals.

history

Until 1984/85 the European championship took place in a 2-year cycle, always in November / December, after that only twice until 1991. The disciplines Free Game , Cadre 47/2 (from 1976 47/1) and 71/2, cover and three-volume . Each team consisted of five players, so a “discipline specialist” could be used per team, as not every player was equally good in all disciplines.
