The LG U + 3-Cushion Cup Masters is a Korean invitational tournament in Karambolagedisziplin three band .
history
In 2015, the Asian Carom Billiard Confederation (ACBC), in cooperation with the Korean LG Group as sponsor, launched a highly endowed international tournament. This is the first of its kind to originate from Korean soil. The prize money is higher than in other tournaments of this type, comparable to other privately financed tournaments such as the former Crystal Kelly tournament .
mode
The participants are divided into four groups (A – D) of four players each. It is played in round robin mode with 40 points. The first in the group advance to the semi-finals of the finals. There is then also played on 40 points, but in the knockout system . There are two match billiards available that can be played at the same time. Follow-ups are allowed throughout the tournament. In the knockout games, there was an extra time in the event of a tie. The shot clock has been set to 30 seconds since 2017 .
