The LG U + Cup 3-Cushion Masters was a carom invitation tournament in the three cushion discipline . It was the fifth tournament since 2015. For the first time, the tournament was not held in Seoul but in Hanam, a suburb of Seoul, in the province of Gyeonggi-do .

mode

The participants were drawn into four groups (A – D) of four players each. It was played in round robin mode. A draw is possible in the group stage. The group winners and the runners-up got into the knockout round. Third and fourth places were eliminated. In the knockout round, overtime was played in the event of a tie. The whole tournament was played up to 40 points. The times given are local time (CEST +7). The shot clock was set to 40 seconds throughout the tournament .
