The three-cushion world championship for national teams in 1992 was the 6th edition of this tournament, which has been held annually since 1981 in the three- cushion version of billiards . It took place from March 12th to 15th, 1992 in Viersen .
Game mode
12 teams took part in the tournament. Each team consisted of two players. The game was played in 4 groups. In the groups, each player played against both opponents. The four group winners reached the semifinals.
The whole tournament was played with 2 winning sets. Defending champions Sweden and the highly regarded Belgians were surprisingly eliminated in the preliminary round.
