The Nowa Trybuna Opolska (NTO) is a regional Polish daily newspaper from Opole .

history

The first edition of Trybuna Opolska appeared on January 1, 1952 , after the Opole Voivodeship was established as part of an administrative reform in 1951 and the decision was made to found a daily newspaper by the Voivodship Committee of the Workers' Party PZPR . In the meantime, the newspaper appeared under the title Trybuna Odrzańska (1975–1981). After the political change in 1989, the NTO was privatized. In November 1996 the owner Pro Media found the Norwegian Orkla Press Polska as a new partner. Since June 13, 1999, the NTO has been printed in Pro Media's in-house print shop . The publishing house is now part of the Polish Mecom Group.
