nuBox

The nuBox ensemble was founded in 1984 as Blue Box by Alois Kott . Together with Reiner Winterschladen and Peter Eisold , they made their breakthrough at the JazzFest Berlin in 1985. Their debut album Sweet Machine received the German Record Critics' Prize and helped them to an international career with over 400 concerts in Europe and Asia, including one in 1988 two-month tour in 1988 on behalf of the Goethe-Institut . In addition to a second invitation to JazzFest Berlin in 2005, nuBox also played at the jazz festivals in Frankfurt , Montreux , Istanbul , Salzburg , Breslau , Thessaloniki, Zagreb, Skopje , as well as the Java Jazz Festival Jakarta and the Jazz Yatra in Delhi and Bombay.

After a ten-year hiatus, the three members came together again in 2004 under the name nuBox . DJ Illvibe alias Vincent von Schlippenbach is often the fourth man in their live performances.
