The Nueve-de-Julio-Glacier ( Spanish Glaciar Nueve de Julio 'Glacier of July 9th' ) is a wide glacier on the Fallières coast of Graham Land on the Antarctic Peninsula . It flows from the Black Thumb and the neighboring mountain ridges in a south-westerly direction to the Bertrand-Piedmont Glacier in Rymill Bay .
Argentine scientists named it in 1978 after Argentina's Independence Day .
