Nuku is a village in the Kingdom of Sigave , which belongs to France as part of the French overseas territory of Wallis and Futuna .

location

The village is located in the west of the island of Futuna , which belongs to the Horn Islands in the Pacific Ocean . North of Nuku is Fiua , south closes Leava on. Nuku is located on only one road along the coast of the island, the interior of the island is not populated. In the northern part of the village is the Église de Sausau .

population

According to the current population of 2013, 257 people live in Nuku, compared to 267 people in 2008. The population of Wallis and Futuna is declining in every village.
