Numerus Exploratorum Habitancensium
The Numerus Exploratorum Habitancensium ( German Numerus of the scouts in Habitancum ) was a Roman auxiliary unit . It is documented by inscriptions. In the literature, the term Exploratores Habitancenses occurs for the unit .

history
The number was stationed in the province of Britannia Inferior in the 3rd century AD . It is first documented by the inscription (RIB 1235) that was found in the Habitancum fort and that is dated to 213 AD.
