Nupsskåka (Norwegian for summit shaft ) is an icy valley in Queen Maud Land in East Antarctica . In short Mountains of the Orvin Mountains , it is located on the southwest side of the Nupsskarvet .
Norwegian cartographers, who also named the valley, mapped it on the basis of aerial photographs and measurements made by the Third Norwegian Antarctic Expedition (1956–1960).
