Only Izlyn Zaini (born April 21, 1990 in Singapore ) is a hurdler who specializes in the 100 meter distance .

Athletic career

Trần Thị Yến gained her first international experience in 2014 when she finished fourth in the C-final at the Youth Olympic Games in Nanjing in 15.60 seconds. In the following year she took part in the Southeast Asian Games in Singapore for the first time and reached seventh place in 16.95 s. Two years later, she won the bronze medal in the hurdles sprint at the Southeast Asian Games in Kuala Lumpur with a new national record of 14.14 seconds behind the Vietnamese Trần Thị Yến and Nursheena Azhar Raja from Malaysia. In addition, she finished fourth with the Singapore 4 x 100 meter relay with a national record of 44.96 s. In 2018 she took part in the Asian Games in Jakarta , but was eliminated there with 14.53 s in the run-up and also with the relay 45.93 s were not enough for the finals. The following year she won the bronze medal behind the Indonesian Emilia Nova and the Vietnamese Trần at the Southeast Asian Games in Capas in 13.92 seconds .
