Nuraghe Ardasái

The Nuraghe Ardasai or Montarbu (named after a forest and nature park) is a tower of the Bronze Age nuragic culture near Seui in the province of Nuoro in Sardinia . The remains of a hut village lie near the nuraghe on a rocky outcrop . Nuraghi are prehistoric towers of the Bonnanaro culture (2200–1600 BC) and the subsequent nuragic culture (around 1600–400 BC) in Sardinia.

The nuraghe consists of the central tower , which originally had a number of floors and is surrounded by a wall and the remains of secondary towers. It consists only of the lower floor, from which the stairs to the top are blocked by landslides , as are the secondary towers. The nuraghi structure, which is to be turned into an archaeological park, is currently in a precarious state. The hut village and a circular or oval rotunda made of masonry and natural rock extend around the nuraghi. There is also a sacred nuragher spring near the village .
