Nuraghe Nuraddeo

The Nuraghe Nuraddeo is located in the center of the Pedrasenta plateau near Suni , in Planargia in the province of Sassari in Sardinia .

It consists of the central tower (mastio) of about 11.0 m in diameter, which is surrounded by an outer wall and three better-preserved towers of about 8.0 m in diameter, which are connected to each other by remains of walls (four to five rows). The entrance leads into an approximately 2.0 m long passage that leads to the inner courtyard.

The enclosure, measuring approximately 24 × 22 m, which originally enclosed a nuragic settlement , has a curved pentagonal shape. The peculiarities of the well-preserved mastio with a height of about 12.35 m are that it no longer tapers in the upper layers, but rises vertically and the staircase begins in the tholos with a diameter of 4.3 m.
