Nurume Ike ( Japanese ぬ る め 池 'lukewarm lake' ) is a lake on the Prince Harald coast of the East Antarctic Queen Maud Land . It is located in the vicinity of the Dokkene immediately northwest of the Hamna Bay on the west side of the Langhovde on the banks of the Lützow-Holm Bay .
Japanese scientists mapped it on the basis of surveys carried out between 1957 and 1962 and aerial photographs taken during this period . They named him in 1972.
