The Nyang Qu or Nyangqu , also Nyang Chu or Nyangchu ( Tib. མྱང་ ཆུ Myang Chu , ཉང་ ཆུ ། Nyang Chu, Chinese 年楚河 , Pinyin Niánchǔ Hé and others) is a tributary of the Yarlung Zangbo (Brahmaputra) in the area of Xigazê (Shigatse) in the Tibet Autonomous Region of the People's Republic of China . Its catchment area is 11,130 square kilometers, the length of the river 217 km.
