The ORF Nachlese is a magazine published by the Austrian Broadcasting Corporation . It appears 12 times a year on the first of each month.
content
The range of topics covered by the ORF review covers all areas from the TV programs ORF eins , ORF 2 , ORF III Kultur und Information as well as ORF SPORT + and the TV and radio programs from the nine regional studios. It also offers regular service topics such as documentation, articles on health / wellness, consumer protection and legal matters as well as the entire monthly recipe collection for "Freshly cooked is half the battle".
history
The magazine was created at the end of the 1970s with a print run of 40,000 copies, after more and more listeners and viewers asked ORF customer service for manuscripts. The at that time still quite unadorned booklet contained copies of a night studio broadcast about the (thought) world of the philosopher Karl Popper and a Club 2 about the Kissinger era as well as recipes from the "Häferlgucker!" The first edition was sold out after just a few days, and in February of the following year the circulation rose to the record value of 290,000 copies.
Circulation and range
According to the Austrian Edition Control (ÖAK), the print run of the ORF gleanings in the first half of 2014 was an average of 106,391 copies. Around 71,100 of these were sold. The ORF Nachlese is thus among the 25 magazines with the highest circulation in Austria.
According to the Working Group Media Analyzes MA 13/14 - Daily Newspapers Total , the ORF has 428,000 readers per issue in Austria. This corresponds to a coverage of 5.9% for the whole of Austria.
