Oakley Hall
Oakley Maxwell Hall (born July 1, 1920 in San Diego , † May 12, 2008 in Nevada City ) was an American writer who has mainly emerged with Wild West novels. In particular his novel Warlock , published in 1958, is one of the classics of this genre today.
His last five works, published 1998–2007, are detective novels in which Hall had the writer Ambrose Bierce, who disappeared under mysterious circumstances in 1914, “come back to life” as a detective.
