Cesare Previti

Cesare Previti (born October 21, 1934 in Reggio Calabria ) is an Italian lawyer and politician.

Cesare Previti was born in Reggio Calabria and grew up in Rome , where he also began to study law. After graduating, he took up the profession of lawyer. In 1971 Previti met Silvio Berlusconi in this role . For his newly founded Forza Italia party , Previti entered the Senate elections in 1994 and won a seat. In the new government under Berlusconi as Prime Minister, Previti was initially supposed to become Minister of Justice, but failed because of the veto by President Oscar Luigi Scalfaro . Instead, Preveti became Minister of Defense. He held the office from May to December 1994.
