The flow Obal ( belarusian Обаль ; Russian Оболь obol ) is a right tributary of Düna .

It arises near the village of Jesjaryschtscha (Russian: Jeserischtsche ) as an outflow from the 16.6 km² large lake Jesjaryschtscha , not far from the border between Belarus and Russia . It flows through the North Belarus districts Haradok and Shumilina and opens after windungsreichem course to 148 km in length about 20 km above Polazk ( Polozk ) in the Düna. He touches the town of the same name Obol (city) . It drains an area of ​​2690 km².
