Outerwear , including outwear , in the textile industry also English outerwear , is the collective term for about lingerie and corsetry outside to wear garments. This applies to clothing to be worn indoors (indoor clothing) or outdoors (outdoor clothing), for women, men and children.

These garments can be, among others: suit , blouse , shirt , trousers , jacket , jeans wear , dress , costume , jacket , sweater , skirt , jacket , shirt , rainwear , workwear , uniforms , fitness clothing , casual wear , Casual Clothing , Active Wear , Casual Wear , Sportswear , streetswear , leather clothing and fur clothing .

history

The apparel industry has its origins in the manufacture of outerwear. This division is still the most important area there today, before the manufacture of laundry. A major reason for this is that outerwear is much more subject to fashion change than the rest of the clothing.
