The men's 3000 meter obstacle course at the European Athletics Championships in 1969 was held on September 18 and 20, 1969 in the Karaiskakis Stadium in Athens .

With silver and bronze, the Soviet runners won two medals in this competition. European champion was the Bulgarian Mikhail Schelew . He won before Alexander Morosow . Bronze went to world record holder Vladimiras Dudinas .
