Alexander Wassiljewitsch Morosow
Alexander Wassiljewitsch Morozov ( Russian Александр Васильевич Морозов , English transcription Aleksandr Morozov; born October 13, 1939 in Tomsk ; † 2003 ) was a Russian obstacle runner who started for the Soviet Union .
Over 3000 m obstacle he was at the European Athletics Championships in 1966 in Budapest eleventh and in the 1968 Olympic Games in Mexico City fifth. In 1969 he won silver at the European Championships in Athens .
He set his personal best of 8: 23.4 minutes on August 19, 1969 in Kiev .
