Oberbrunn (Pittenhart)

Oberbrunn is a district of the municipality of Pittenhart in the Upper Bavarian district of Traunstein .

history

Finds of a Roman villa rustica and an early medieval row grave field indicate an old settlement.

The village was first mentioned in documents in 924.

In 1531 Hans I. Stunt home of Duke was Wilhelm IV. The Hofmarksrechte on top and Niederbrunn . In the course of the following centuries the owners of the Hofmark Oberbrunn and the palace changed several times.

When the community was formed in Bavaria in 1818 , the Hofmarks area of ​​Oberbrunn was added to the newly formed community of Pittenhart.
