The Hofmark Oberbrunn was a Hofmark based at Oberbrunn Castle in Oberbrunn , today a district of the municipality of Pittenhart in the Upper Bavarian district of Traunstein .

history

From the Middle Ages onwards , various noble families were wealthy in Oberbrunn. Initially mainly ministerials from the Archbishopric of Salzburg and then from the Bavarian Wittelsbachers . Hans I. von Stuntheim finally received Hofmarksrecht from Duke Wilhelm IV in 1531, with jurisdiction over Oberbrunn and Niederbrunn.

In the early 17th century the place Frabertsham came to Hofmark , which is why the name Hofmark Oberbrunn and Frabertsham was used. The owners of the Hofmark changed in the 17th and 18th. Century often, from 1760 the lord of the Hofmark was the family Basselet von La Rosée .

In 1814, after the death of the royal municipal administrator Michael Estermayr, the administration of the lordly court was taken to the Trostberg district court . The new owner of the castle, Count Lamberg von Amerang, subsequently applied to be allowed to manage Oberbrunn together with Amerang. Approval was given and so Oberbrunn was now subject to the Count's Lamberg Patrimonial Court of Amerang until 1822 .

On January 14, 1822, Christoph Anton Basselet was allowed by La Rosée, who had meanwhile worked as a chief forester in Zwiesel, to set up a second class patrimonial court for Oberbrunn and Frabertsham. H. jurisdiction lay with the court lord, who also had a right to police and community administration. In 1848 the patrimonial jurisdiction ended and Oberbrunn was merged with the rural community Pittenhart .
