The Obere Teich is a pond in Oberharz am Brocken in the area of the Stiege district in Saxony-Anhalt .
It covers an area of 2.1 km² and extends with a length of about 260 meters and a width of up to 220 meters south of the locality of Stiege. The inlet and outlet of the pond is formed by the Hassel brook, which flows into the southeastern tip of the pond and flows off to the northeast towards the lower pond . The Selketalbahn runs south of the pond .
