Ochava

The Ochava , also Octavo and Ochavo , was a Spanish measure of weight and meant eighth. In Spain and Paraguay the measure was the same.

As gold and silver weight, the conditions were:

The measure is to be distinguished from the ochavo as a bill of exchange in Castile , Navarre and Morocco .
