Octriallach
Octriallach , also Oichtriallach , Olltriallach and Ochtriallach , is a legendary figure from the Lebor Gabála Érenn ("The Book of the Conquest of Ireland") in the Celtic mythology of Ireland .
Octriallach is a Fomori warrior, the son of King Indech , with whom he fights against the Túatha Dé Danann in the Second Battle of Mag Tuired . In this battle he kills Bruidne and Casmael, two druids of the Túatha. He also discovers Dian Cecht's source of life and healing, which, with the help of his companions, he buries through a mountain of stones. This hill, Achad Aba ( Ardagh ), between Lough Arrow and Mag Tuired, has since been called The Cairn of Octriallach . Next to the hill, the spring formed the “lake of herbs” ( Loch Luibe ).
