Indech
Indech mac Dé Domnann [ 'indʼex mak dʼe' dovnaN ] ("Indech, son of the god Domnu ") is a legendary figure from the Lebor Gabála Érenn of the Celtic mythology of Ireland . He is a brother of King Balor .
mythology
In the tale of the second battle of Mag Tuired , Indech is a king of the Fomori . In this fight he kills Ogma from the people of the Túatha Dé Danann , but is then also slain by Lugh . In another version of the legend, Indech and Ogma kill each other in a duel during the battle. His son Octriallach also fights in this battle and then buries the healing spring of Dian Cecht .
Cartoon character
In the Fomor comics by Marvel Enterprises , Indech appears as a slime monster, alongside Fomori characters also known from mythology such as Balor , Bress , Elatha and Tethra , all of whom bear little resemblance to their namesakes.
