Oda from Werl

Oda von Werl (* around 1050; † January 13, 1110 ) was a noblewoman from the house of the Counts of Werl .

Her mother was Richenza von Schwaben , her father Count Hermann III. from Werl . Her stepfather was Otto von Northeim . She married Lothar Udo II , Count of Stade († May 4, 1082) and Margrave of the Nordmark . She is considered the ancestral mother of the Counts of Stade. Your sons Heinrich, Udo III. and Rudolf successively became Margraves of the Nordmark. Her daughter Adelheid von Stade (* around 1060, † 1110) became Countess von Goseck and Countess in Thuringia. Oda gave part of their Werler inheritance to the Archbishops of Cologne around 1102 .
