The Odenwaldbrücke is a road bridge in Wertheim that spans the confluence of the Tauber in the Main and the Miltenberg West – Wertheim railway in the Main-Tauber district in Baden-Württemberg . It takes you to Landesstraße 2310 . The structure has two lanes as well as sidewalks and cycle paths on both sides.
history
The Odenwald Bridge has spanned the confluence of the Tauber and Main rivers since 1975. Comprehensive renovation of the bridge began in March 2009. It was the largest bridge renovation project in the state of Baden-Württemberg in 2009. The total costs were estimated at 4.25 million euros. During the renovation, which was planned to take two and a half years, the bridge was closed on one side in sections.
