Odile Chalvin (born October 2, 1953 in Le Bourg-d'Oisans ) is a former French ski racer . She competed in the technical disciplines of the World Cup and was particularly successful in slalom .

biography

Chalvin was a member of the French national ski team in the first half of the 1970s. She scored her first points in a World Cup race as an 18-year-old on January 29, 1971, finishing ninth in the slalom in Saint-Gervais-les-Bains . The following winter she finished four times in the points. She achieved the best result of her career at the start of the 1972/73 season , when she finished second behind the German Pamela Behr in the Val-d'Isère slalom . It was the only podium finish in her career. In 1975 she resigned from top-class sport.
