The Odin Valley is an ice-free valley in East Antarctic Victoria Land . It is located immediately east of Mount Odin .
The New Zealand Antarctic Place-Names Committee named the valley based on the naming of Mount Odin after Odin , father of gods, god of war and death in Norse mythology .
