Officine Meccaniche Giovanni Cerutti is a printing press manufacturer founded in 1922 by Giovanni Cerutti with headquarters in Casale Monferrato, Italy .

The company Officine Meccaniche Giovanni Cerutti, which Giovanni Cerutti registered with a notary in Genoa in 1922 , was not originally geared towards printing press construction. In fact, Giovanni Cerutti took on orders for the construction of any mechanical machine. It was not until 1949 that the company's founder constructed his first rotogravure printing press for a customer in Warsaw who wanted to use it to print PVC tablecloths. Until then, Giovanni Cerutti had repaired textile machines and constructed baling presses , among other things . In 1950 an order for a printing machine for printing magazine pages was secured. Due to the company's success, the size of the company had to be expanded significantly as early as the 1950s. In the period that followed, the company increasingly focused on the construction of printing machines for packaging printing . In the 1980s, newspaper printing presses also served as growth drivers. Cerutti gravure presses continued to be used for printing banknotes and postage stamps.

The global company had a turnover of 262 million euros in 2006 with 1237 employees. In 2007 Koenig & Bauer (KBA) sold its rotogravure printing press business to Cerutti. In return, KBA took on the design and manufacture of folders for all new Cerutti rotogravure presses.
