Officer readiness to conduct

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The officer command readiness (abbreviated OffzFü) is a service position within the Bundeswehr .

Insinuation

Depending on the area of operation, the OffzFü reports to the barracks commander or - if he is responsible for several properties - to the site elder .

tasks

Outside of regular working hours, the guard duty officer (OvWa) is responsible for security and discipline within the military properties. If he feels technically or technically overwhelmed (typical example: theft of weapons), he must report this to the OffzFü . He or she can then give the necessary commands over the phone at his own discretion or take command on site. The OffzFü is also authorized to enter the relevant property at any time in order to ensure that the guards are performing properly.

In the event of serious breaches of duty or failure of the OvWa (e.g. due to an accident), guards can also contact the OffzFü as his superior directly .

Ranks

Depending on the property (and thus the number of service doors in question), the service is provided by officers from captain to colonel . In any case, the OffzFü must be above the OvWa in terms of rank and / or seniority .

Duration and stay

The service as an OffzFü usually lasts one week. The service doors can do their normal duty and also move freely. However, they must be able to reach their area of responsibility (typically a barracks ) within 30 minutes and also ensure that they can be reached (e.g. by telephone); a mobile phone is usually provided for this purpose. Alcohol is also prohibited during the duration.
