The offshore wind farm "Delta Nordsee 1" (former planning name: "ENOVA Offshore Northsea Windpower") is an offshore wind farm planned by ENOVA Offshore Projektentwicklungsgesellschaft mbH & Co. KG in Bunderhee in the German Exclusive Economic Zone in the southeastern North Sea .
Following an application dated July 2, 2001, the construction and operation of an initial 48 wind turbines were approved by the Federal Maritime and Hydrographic Agency (BSH) on February 11, 2005 . The project area is 39 kilometers north of the island of Juist and covers an area of almost 28 km² with water depths of 29 to 35 meters. The extension of the wind farm with a further 238 turbines has been applied for, the approval decision will be made after completion of the pilot phase.
The current license holder is OWP Delta Nordsee GmbH in Munich. The approval of the BSH expires if the construction work for the installation of the systems is not started by June 30, 2020 [out of date] .
