Oichalia (wife of Melaneus)
Oichalia ( Greek Οἰχαλία ) is the wife of Melaneus and mother of Eurytus in Greek mythology . The Messenian town of Oichalia is said to have been named after her. In Hesiod's catalog of women , the mother of Eurytus Stratonike is mentioned.
