Okan Salmaz (born July 17, 1992 in Tufanbeyli ) is a Turkish football player who currently plays for Adanaspor .

Career

society

Okan Salmaz began club football in the youth of Adana Sarıçam Buruk Spor and then played for the youth team Adanaspor . In the summer of 2008 he received a professional contract here and was integrated into the team squad. In his first season he completed three league games for the professional team. In his second season he was used regularly and only missed promotion to the Süper Lig in the relegation phase. In the 2011/12 season he made his breakthrough in the first team and won a regular place. With Adanaspor he made it to the playoff final of the TFF 1st Lig . In the final they lost to Kasımpaşa Istanbul 2: 3 in extra time and thus missed promotion to the Süper Lig only in the last encounter.

For the second half of the 2012/13 season Salmaz was loaned to Istanbul third division club Eyüpspor . For the summer Salmaz returned to Adanaspor and spent the first half of the 2013/4 season at this club. For the second half of the season he was loaned to the Istanbul third division club Bayrampaşaspor .

National team

Salmaz started playing for the Turkish national youth teams at an early age. From the U-16 he went through the Turkish U-17 , U-18 and U-21 youth teams .
