Olcay Ozdemir (born May 8, 1990 in Essen ) is a German presenter and television - editor . He is best known for his work as a reporter on the television program Galileo , red! Stars, Lifestyle & More , Finally after work! and SAT.1 breakfast television .

Life

Özdemir is the son of Turkish parents and grew up in Kettwig . After graduating from high school in Essen in 2009, he worked in New York, studied media and entertainment management at Stenden University in the Netherlands and specialized in TV productions at Yasar University in Izmir , Turkey . After completing his studies, he began to appear as a television reporter through an internship for the show Galileo , in which, among other things, he tried out life as a woman for a few days with the help of a make-up artist. The film became the most successful reporter-borne feature on Galileo's YouTube channel, reaching more than 13 million viewers online. Since then, his reporting as a TV reporter has taken him to China, the United States, Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates, among others .
