The Old Windsor Road is a main road in the east of the Australian state of New South Wales . It connects the Cumberland Highway in Parramatta with the Windsor Road near Kellyville .
course
The Old Windsor Road branches off the Briens Road (Cumberland Highway) in Parramatta to the northwest. At Baulkham Hills it crosses the Hills Motorway (Met-2 / Met-7) and the connected WestLink (M7). From there it is called Metroad 2.
In Kellyville it joins the Windsor Road (S40) coming from the east .
history
The Old Windsor Road from the junction with the Hills Motorway and the WestLink to Kellyville (and from there the Windsor Road) were expanded to November 2007 as a four-lane artery with median.
It used to be known as State Road 40, but lost this designation to Windsor Road.
