Ole Henrik Laub (born December 3, 1937 in Aarhus - † October 22, 2019 ) was a Danish writer .

Laub made his debut in 1967 with Et Svaerd Dyppet i Honning , a collection of short stories. He has since written more than fifty prose works, including short stories, novels and children's books. He has also written pieces for the stage, television and radio plays. His stories are about people in small Danish towns; they usually have a dark, gloomy tone.

Many of his radio plays were also successful in Germany. One of his most important works for the radio is Roskjaer was here . It was broadcast more than 20 times on German radio.

In recent years, Laub has also worked as a painter in addition to his work as a writer . He has done more than 30 exhibitions under the pseudonym Henry Barrach. The paintings are full of stories that in many ways reflect his work as a writer.
