Ole Kreins (born December 1, 1979 in Berlin ) is a German politician ( SPD ). He was a member of the Berlin House of Representatives in the 17th electoral term . Today, Kreins works as a consultant for federal, cabinet and parliamentary matters in the Senate Department for Education, Youth and Family.

education and profession

After attending school in Hellersdorf (Carl-Blechen-POS and Max-Reinhardt-Gymnasium), Ole Kreins did his community service in the Judith Auer senior citizens' home in Lichtenberg. He then studied political science from 2002 to 2014 at the University of Potsdam , graduating as a political scientist. From 2004 to 2011, alongside his studies, he worked professionally in the social field and in corporate development.

Kreins became a member of the SPD and the Jusos in 2002 . He represented his party from 2006 to 2011 in the district assembly of the Lichtenberg district . In the election to the Berlin House of Representatives in 2011 , he won the direct mandate in his constituency . In 2006 he only narrowly missed entry. He was transport policy spokesman for the SPD parliamentary group in the Berlin House of Representatives and in this function u. a. as chairman of the committee of inquiry into Berlin Brandenburg Airport . He did not succeed in being re-elected to the House of Representatives in 2016.
