Ole Bo Rasmussen (born March 19, 1952 on Amager ) is a former Danish football player and coach .

Career

Rasmussen started his career in 1971 at Næstved IF . After four seasons on Zealand , he moved to Germany to Hertha BSC . He made his debut with the "Old Lady" in January 1976. He made it to the finals of the DFB Cup twice with Hertha and in 1978 was third in the German Bundesliga . In 1980 the Berliners got down and Rasmussen moved back home to Odense BK . After three years at home, he returned to the German capital and was involved in the ascent. In 1983 the club was relegated again and the Dane played in the 2nd Bundesliga for a year before signing with his home club Næstved IF in 1984. Rasmussen ended his career in 1986.

Internationally, he played 41 times for Denmark and scored one goal. He took part in the European Championships in France in 1984 , where Denmark was eliminated in the semifinals.

From 1996 to 1998 Rasmussen was a trainer at Næstved BK .
