In Austria he played for VfB Admira Wacker Mödling and SV Austria Salzburg in the Austrian Bundesliga . His last position as an active player was SC Rabenstein.
Suslow celebrated his greatest success in Austria as the successor to the national goalkeeper Otto Konrad near Salzburg by winning the Austrian championship title in the 1996/97 season .
