Oleksandr Pyatnytsya
Oleksandr Serhijowytsch Pjatnyzja ( Ukrainian Олександр Сергійович П'ятниця , English transcription Oleksandr Pyatnytsya ; born July 14, 1985 in Dnipropetrovsk ) is a Ukrainian javelin thrower .
In 2009 he retired from qualification at the World Athletics Championships in Berlin . At the 2010 European Athletics Championships in Barcelona he was fourth, and at the 2011 World Championships in Daegu, he did not get beyond the preliminary round again.
In 2012 he set his personal record on May 20 in Kiev with 86.12 m. At the European Championships in Helsinki he was fifth. At the Olympic Games in London in August 2016 he was subsequently disqualified for proven doping .
