Olga Kaminer
Olga Kaminer ( Russian Ольга Каминер ; * 1966 in Ocha on the island of Sakhalin as Olga Gura ) is a German author of Russian origin.
Life
Kaminer spent her childhood and youth on the island of Sakhalin. From the age of sixteen she lived in Leningrad , now St. Petersburg, and studied chemistry there. In 1990 she emigrated to Berlin as a quota refugee from what was then the Soviet Union and was soon given German citizenship . Today she lives with her husband Wladimir Kaminer and their two children Sebastian and Nicole in Berlin-Prenzlauer Berg .
