Olive the Ostrich (Original Title: Olive the Ostrich) is a British animated series that has been produced since 2011 .

The ostrich girl Olive has a lot of imagination and a big heart. She lives with her family in the country and often longs for adventure. However, she is different from her parents. Her father likes to run while she cannot run particularly fast, her mother likes to lay huge eggs, which Olive is not very comfortable with and Olive's brother usually picks around on the floor while she has to sneeze from it. But she has the gift of burying her head in the sand and experiencing adventures in various places in her imagination.

Production and publication

The series has been produced in the United Kingdom by Blue-Zoo Productions and directed by Helen Arnsten since 2011 . The German TV premiere took place on July 22, 2012 on Nick Jr. Germany and on free TV on July 30, 2012 on Nickelodeon .
