Oliver Dimbath (born September 20, 1968 , in Starnberg , Bavaria ) is a German sociologist and university professor .

Dimbath first studied business administration at the Munich University of Applied Sciences and then sociology , social psychology, and social and economic history at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich, where he obtained a doctorate in sociology in 2002. rer. pole. received his doctorate .
